Kuqa Travel Guide: How to Get There
Kuqa is well connected. Kuqa Qiuci Airport (KCA) has daily flights from Urumqi (about 1.5 hours) and links to a few other cities. The Southern Xinjiang railway brings fast trains from Urumqi (around 9 to 11 hours) and Kashgar (about 4 to 5 hours), with the Kuqa station in the new town. Long-distance buses run to Aksu and Korla. Kuqa Grand Canyon (Tianshan Mysterious Canyon)
The Kuqa Grand Canyon (库车大峡谷), also called the Tianshan Mysterious Canyon, is the headline sight: a 5 km gorge of red sandstone worn into towers, arches, and narrow slits of sky. Kizil Caves
